November 2017 Kindergarten Newsletter
Dear Parents,
A new month has arrived, along with some cooler weather! Just a friendly reminder to please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the colder weather. We also ask that you please label your child’s winter wear as we want to avoid any mix ups with hats and mitts.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your generosity throughout our United Way campaign. Everyone's participation in the events and activities helped us raise a wonderful amount of money for the Catholic Education Foundation which helps many families in our school board.
Each Wednesday, the children have been borrowing 2 books from the Learning Commons (school library). They will keep them for a week and should be returned every Tuesday. A ziploc bag with your child’s name on it was given to each child to ensure that all bags are kept safe. It is important to keep the books in its bag as it has your child’s specific bar code on the bag.
Important Dates
November 1st: Photo Retakes
November 11th: Remembrance Day
November 15th: Kindergarten Initial Observations Sent home
November 16th: Parent-Teacher Interviews (Please call Miss Guilfoyle to set-up a time)
November 24th– PD Day (No school)
